EVE[]

WALL-E (character)/Relationships (1)
Eva.
―WALL-E

While on a mission, WALL-E and EVE meet each other for the first time, and shows her his treasures, including the plant, which she immediately takes and stores in her cavity before going into standby mode. Alarmed, WALL•E tries to wake her inert body but fails, so for the next several days, he protects EVE from any kinds of bad weather conditions, taking her out on "dates". Eventually, he gives up on her awakening and attempts to return to work, but finds he cannot focus on his directive; EVE is all he cares about. When he sees her ship return to pick her up, WALL•E races to get back to EVE. Making sure Hal stays put, he clings to its hull as it travels through space to the Axiom. At the captain's deck, EVE tries to hide WALL-E from GO-4 and AUTO. She then opens her chest cavity to show the Captain the plant, only to find it missing and angrily accuses WALL-E of stealing the plant, though WALL-E has no memory of the theft. They are then both sent to the Repair Ward for maintenance.

Later in the Repair Ward, WALL-E tries to save EVE thinking she was tortured, but she angrily yells at him for causing even more trouble — zapping the ward's panel with her blaster arm, freeing the malfunctioning bots who declare WALL-E a hero for freeing them and making the Stewards send a photo of them as Rouged Robots. After a chase through the Axiom 's halls evading assigned Stewards, EVE tries to send WALL•E back to Earth in an lifepod, but he refuses to leave her. They hide when GO-4 arrives and places the missing plant in the lifepod. WALL•E goes inside the pod to retrieve it only for the lifepod to be jettisoned into space, set to self-destruct. Storing the plant in his chest and grabbing a fire extinguisher, he escapes the lifepod just before it explodes. Once he had finally caught up with EVE, he presents her the plant in his chasis. EVE is so grateful he saved the plant that she hugs him and spark-kisses him much to his surprise, then they share a space dance before re-entering the Axiom. WALL-E (thinking she finally understood love) decided to ask her to hold his hand, only for her to dismiss his offer, still not understanding but grateful for his assistance.

Once inside, WALL•E offers to help EVE, but she tells him to stay put near the pool while she goes up the garbage chute to deliver the plant to Captain McCrea.

EVE sees the scene where WALL-E is showing her the "It Only Takes a Moment" scene from "Hello, Dolly" and begins to realize what WALL-E has been trying to say to her. EVE then discovers through her security camera footage that while she was deactivated, WALL-E had been protecting her from all sorts of danger, and she begins to understand the meaning of love and how much WALL-E truly cares for her. Realizing that WALL-E must be waiting for her down below, EVE decides to go back to him, only to be confronted by AUTO, whom the captain has called. Soon WALL•E becomes anxious with waiting and climbs up the chute, in the process saving the plant from falling. He soon finds EVE captured by AUTO and GO-4 and immediately protects the plant from them, but he is electrocuted by AUTO, causing him to become impotent and sent down to the garbage depot, along with EVE.

After saving WALL-E from the garbage airlock (with a little help from M-O and the WALL-As), EVE changes her directive to caring for him. EVE then finds that WALL-E's motherboard was burned and damaged beyond repair, thanks to AUTO and tries to find a spare circuit. WALL-E gives her the plant, telling her to finish her mission and explains that once they return to Earth, she can fix him with his spare parts in his truck. This finally makes EVE agree to fulfill her original directive if only to get him home so he can get repaired. She flies them both off, accompanied by M-O and the reject bots, as they hurry to the lido-deck. With the Captain's guidance, they make their way to the holo-detector, which, when inserted with a plant, will send the Axiom back to Earth. However, during the fight between the Captain and AUTO, still obeying a 700-year-old directive issued by Buy n Large CEO Shelby Forthright, is determined to stop them by tilting the ship. WALL•E drops the plant when he sideswipes the holo-detector, and Auto proceeds to close the holo-detector for good. WALL•E wedges himself underneath the holo-detector to keep it from shutting while EVE is occupied with saving the humans from being crushed by a transport mover. The Captain relieves AUTO of duty, takes control of the ship and Unfortunately, WALL-E is crushed and severely damaged and a tearful EVE desperately tries to wake him up, to no avail, as the Axiom makes its hyper-jump to Earth.

As soon as they land, EVE rushes WALL•E back to his truck, where she repairs him and recharges him. WALL•E wakes back up, but his memory is wiped clean and he reverts to his original programming and directive, oblivious to EVE, Hal, and his collection. EVE attempts to help him remember, but when all her efforts fail, she becomes heartbroken and sadly holds his hand like he had wanted and gives him a farewell "kiss". As EVE prepares to leave in sorrow, WALL•E's grip on her hand tightens. His eyes then adjust, and he calls her name, making her overjoyed; the kiss has rebooted his memory. WALL•E is surprised upon waking up to see that they are holding hands. WALL•E and EVE help the Captain and the Axiom passengers start a new life on Earth, and they spend the rest of their lives together.

Several years later, WALL•E is still together with EVE, holding hands as the two observe a large tree, which has grown from the same plant that WALL•E had discovered at the beginning of the film.

Friends[]

M-O[]

WALL-E (character)/Relationships (2)

When he sees a stowaway WALL-E really filthy, M-O gets so aggressive, that he follows his trail of dirt.M-O eventually befriends WALL-E after all his attempts to clean the dirty robot, following him all over the ship. The two robots eventually have a proper meeting after M-O and EVE save him from being sucked into space and the two become close friends. He even allies with Wall-E and the Reject Bots while fighting the Stewards. He even mourns in grief for the loss of WALL-E after he was crushed under the holo-detector. After WALL-E was repaired and his memory was restored by EVE, M-O was very happy and cheered for his revival but he allows the two robots to have a moment alone and he forces the reject robots into doing the same.

Captain B. McCrea[]

WALL-E (character)/Relationships (3)
Have, uh, WALL-E cleaned.
―Captain B. McCrea to AUTO

WALL-E subsequently introduced himself to McCrea with a handshake. Upon seeing the dirt that had come from WALL-E's hand, the confused Captain asks for the robot to be cleaned up.

After everything that happened with EVE being deemed faulty, GO-4 stealing the plant and WALL-E and EVE finding in it space, AUTO and GO-4 stage a mutiny and size the plant from McCrea. However, WALL-E saved the plant while climbing up the garbage chute to find EVE, to the Captain's joy and relief. McCrea is forced to watch in horror as Auto tasers WALL-E (severely damaging him in the process), sends him EVE down the garbage chute, and locks the furious Captain in his room, terminating all outside communications.

After banging on the elevator door in a futile attempt to get back to the control room, McCrea notices the Rogue Robots message that had been posted for WALL-E and EVE, who had managed to escape with the plant. McCrea uses whatever tech in his room to get a message to EVE and WALL-E, telling them to get to the Lido Deck.

McCrea watches WALL•E sacrificing himself to keep the holo-detector open through a Lido Deck security camera view that AUTO has brought up. After seeing WALL•E getting crushed, McCrea summons the strength to stand up on his own two feet, becoming the first human to do so in over 700 years, and gains the upper power on AUTO.

John and Mary[]

WALL-E initially encounters John as the human mistakes him for a drink-bot. As he falls off, WALL-E helps him back on his hover-chair. He then asks about EVE to John but scurries off as he finds her on a people mover.

While watching for EVE, WALL-E finds Mary talking to others on a holo-screen. Trying to gather her attention, WALL-E unintentionally breaks the holo-screen, bringing her to her real surroundings. As WALL-E asks for EVE, she shifts her hover-chair over to make way.

As WALL-E is seen dancing in space with EVE, the two humans notice and wave 'hello'' to him.

After WALL-E was crushed by the holo-detector, John and Mary mourn his death.

Hal[]

Hal is briefly seen as WALL-E's companion for the first and third act of the film. Similar to the personality of a stereotypical dog, he follows his master around with a rambunctious nature. When he accidentally runs him over, WALL-E is distraught to see his only friend and pet appear to be dead, however to his relief, Hal springs back alive. Hal has also been there to support WALL-E when he follows EVE and even tries to help revive his memory when EVE tries to repair him.

Enemies[]

AUTO[]

WALL-E (character)/Relationships (4)

WALL-E initially finds AUTO while traveling to the Captian's quarters. He watches AUTO and the Captain as the process of Operation Cleanup is explained by Shelby Forthright and introduces himself to the Captain when he is discovered.

Later in the film, AUTO's true controlling nature is shown. As he finds WALL-E recovering the plant from the trash chute, he attempts grab the plant, but WALL-E bravely smacks him away with his chest door and shoves it inside. AUTO then angrily electrocutes WALL-E, causing his power to drain low while sending the helpless and damaged robot down the chute along with the plant.

As WALL-E tries to hold up the holo-detector, AUTO continues his directive by letting the vast machine downward, pressuring the weight on WALL-E. Losing patience, AUTO zaps the button so hard, that the machine crushes the wedged robot. He got defeated though in the end, and WALL-E was then repaired by EVE.

GO-4[]

GO-4 accidentally scans WALL-E without noticed while checking for a positive EVE probe. He even looks back at WALL-Es spot, noticing his mistake.

Following AUTO's commands, GO-4 tosses the plant in the garbage chute. As WALL-E catches the plant, he is confronted and electrocuted by AUTO, GO-4 traps EVE in his suspension beam.

SECUR-T[]

WALL-E notices the blockade of six Stewards as the rogue robots come to a complete stop in the middle of the Robot Highway. He cowers noting the intimidating presence. As EVE catches up and recovers her gun, the Stewards nearly trap the two with their suspension beams. For a while, the Stewards were given chase to the two main unintentional rogues, but then were seen chasing the minor rogues.

WALL-E cautiously moves to the garbage chute leading to the Captain's quarters, trying not to have two patrolling Stewards notice.

A pack of Stewards were sent to stop the rogues and WALL-E and EVE's team by AUTO. During the battle, WALL-E uses his laser to break apart HAN-S' binding strip in order to beat up the remaining Stewards.
