Employees across Montgomery County are wearing purple this week to raise awareness about warning signs of elder abuse.It’s an issue that affects more than 1 million adults age 60 and older. It can include manipulation, financial exploitation, malicious or violent acts.Commissioners Debbie Lieberman and Carolyn Rice attended a special event at the Goodwill Easterseals West Campus in Trotwood to talk about the importance of protecting our seniors and the resources available to them.If you or someone you know has experienced abuse, help is available.
